THE CBI has appointed Amanda Sturgeon as its new assistant director in the East of England.She joins after a 19-year career with a major high street bank, focusing on corporate and commercial banking.
THE CBI has appointed Amanda Sturgeon as its new assistant director in the East of England.
She joins after a 19-year career with a major high street bank, focusing on corporate and commercial banking. She also spent four years at local enterprise agency Menta, where she became executive director.
She was Train to Gain manager for a consortium of training providers in Suffolk, managing the contract on behalf of West Suffolk College.
CBI regional director Richard Tunnicliffe said: “I am delighted to welcome Amanda as CBI assistant director for the East of England. She brings to this important role at CBI a great mix of large and small business expertise from her banking and enterprise agency work.”
Ms Sturgeon said she was “delighted” to be appointed.
“This will be an exciting challenge and I am really looking forward to it,” she said.
