ANDREW Rhodes has been appointed as Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk regional business manager for research-based agrochemical manufacturer Dow AgroSciences.
ANDREW Rhodes has been appointed as Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk regional business manager for research-based agrochemical manufacturer Dow AgroSciences.
Mr Rhodes, who previously worked for Bayer Crop Sciences, brings a wealth of experience having spent some 24 years in the agricultural industry. The science graduate studied rural business management before joining the crop protection industry. He was initially involved in research and development before undertaking technical and commercial roles.
Mr Rhodes said: “I believe this is an exciting time to join Dow AgroSciences with exciting new products in the development pipeline. I am looking forward to the new challenges ahead.”
Dow AgroSciences' UK managing director Donald Westwater said Mr Rhodes would make a “vital addition” to the team.
“He brings an in-depth knowledge of the cereal herbicides sector and a passion for East Anglian farming,” he said.
