AMICUS Legal at Colchester has recruited Andy Tomkins to the new post of general manager.
The appointment is part of the firm's drive to maximise business potential across the before the event and after the event sectors.
Mr Tomkins, who was formerly with General Legal Protection, oversees the 30-plus Colcheseter team alongside head of legal services Kathryn Mortimer and consultant Edward Wright.
“He is a well-known industry figure in the legal expenses arena and a welcome and crucial appointment in our ambitious business plans,” said Ms Mortimer.
