IPSWICH law firm Prettys has welcomed two new recruits to its residential conveyancing team.

Ann Luxford worked for many years as a solicitor in the Ipswich area. Before qualifying as a lawyer in 1995 she trained as an electrical and mechanical engineer.

Laura Veal qualified as a solicitor in Nottingham and returned to her native Ipswich some years ago. In her new role she will deal with all aspects of conveyancing and work closely with clients who are purchasing houses.

Chief executive Paul Dickie said: “We are delighted to welcome these two talented lawyers to our firm. Each brings substantial experience and knowledge of property purchasing and will strengthen our already thriving team.”
