Another day of perfect Suffolk Show weather has been forecast as more crowds head towards Trinity Park for day two of the event.
At the start of the week there were fears of showers today – but metereologists have amended their forecasts to predict another fine day with sunny intervals.
And that has clearly attracted the crowds again. A bumper turnout yesterday is expected to be repeated today with traffic queuing back at the entrances by 8.30am.
Animal judging classes began early with the heavy horses being an early attraction for the first visitors.
Another highlight later in the day will be the long service awards to those who have worked for the same employer for more than 30 years. The longest-serving employee this year has worked 60 years for the same employer.
The number of visitors at the show on Thursday grew throughout the morning – with many making sure they were at Trinity Park for an early start.
Trade stands were very busy by mid-morning as visitors took advantage of the fine weather.
