Staff at Ipswich firm Ansaback, on The Havens, are in training for an important match – Soccer Aid 2018.

While England play the Rest of the World at Old Trafford on Sunday, June 10, the team at Ansaback, part of IP plus UK in Ipswich, have an important role of their own.

They have volunteered to man the call centre to collect the donations from the public for UNICEF, the international children’s charity, on the day of the match. The call centre lines will be manned from 6pm to 10.15pm.

The effort has been organised by colleagues Vicki Studd and Coral Amey, who are also organising fundraising activities in the office.

A total of 100 staff have volunteered, some manning the lines for the whole evening.

The match itself takes place in Manchester with sports stars and celebrities including Mo Farah, Robbie Williams and Usain Bolt in the squads.
