SUFFOLK-based cider maker Aspall yesterday celebrated the opening of a new vinegar bottling line, and launched a new range of premium vinegar products
The event, at Aspall Hall Farm, near Debenham, was hosted by Aspall partner Barry Chevallier Guild, with Suffolk farmer and television presenter Jimmy Doherty performing the opening ceremony, which was followed by sampling of the new vinegars on locally-sourced fish and chips.
The opening is the result of more than a year’s work and an investment of more than 750,000.
It has seen the Aspall workforce increase to more than 70 and the company’s vinegar range expand to 11 different products
For the full story behind project, see the County Life section in the East Anglian Daily Times on Saturday, May 14.
