THE new general store manager at ASDA's new Bury St Edmunds store has been named as Barry Gramlick, who moves to the town from the supermarket giant's South Woodham Ferrers store.
THE new general store manager at ASDA's new Bury St Edmunds store has been named as Barry Gramlick, who moves to the town from the supermarket giant's South Woodham Ferrers store.
ASDA is investing over �22million in the 36,500sq ft store, based at Western Way, which opens on 30 March and will create 370 new jobs.
Commenting on his new role, Mr Gramlick said he was “delighted” to bring a new store to Bury St Edmunds.
“At �22million, this will be one of ASDA's largest community investments this year,” he said.
“I am also really looking forward to meeting members of the local community when our job interviews get underway over the next few weeks.”
He said he hoped the store would become “a real focal point” for the community.

“With 370 new jobs being created for local people ASDA will be injecting much needed jobs into the Bury economy and I am eager to listen and learn from the community about what they want from their local ASDA too,” he said.
