CHARTERED accountants and business advisers Larking Gowen has promoted Becky Ames to manager of its Colchester office.
Mrs Ames joined the firm in 1997 as a graduate and trained with the firm, qualifying as an accountant in 2001.
In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing general practice within the office and managing a large portfolio of clients, including small to medium-sized businesses, sole traders, partnerships and personal tax.
Mrs Ames, who lives in Stowmarket with her husband and three-year-old daughter, said she was looking forward to using her skills to help the firm grow further.
