A group of beef farmers which meets monthly during winter to discuss all matters relating to cattle will be holding its next meeting on October 12 at 7.30pm.
The East Suffolk Beef Group will be at the Queen’s Head in Saxmundham. “In times past, livestock keepers would usually meet at the local market and keep up to date with all that was going on,” said member Sally Grimwood.
“These days there are no local markets and a decline in livestock keepers so we have become more isolated. Our group helps to bridge that gap and give like minded people a chance to meet and find out what is going on.”
The group is pleased to welcome new members. Contact Sally Grimwood 01728 832 821, 07780964978 for details.
