A pig farmer is kicking off the New Year with a tots’ rugby sideline.
Alastair Butler, of Blythburgh Free Range Pork, is launching his new business, Rugbytots, in January, with wife, Natalie. The Rugbytots rugby play scheme was launched in 2006 and has grown across the UK.
The couple will be running classes for children aged two to five years old using rugby related skills to add their development in Southwold. They also plan to launch other classes in Diss and Poringland.
Alastair said: “This is an excellent way to introduce rugby to children who are too young to start minis rugby at their local club. It’s not just about rugby though, the classes offer a fun play setting whilst helping children to develop their physical, psychological and social skills.”
