THE latest garden tool designed by the Bosch team in Suffolk will be vying for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show Garden Product of the Year 2012.

Bosch’s Keo cordless gardening saw is one of 15 to be shortlisted for the award.

The multi-purpose reciprocating saw, designed at the manufacturer’s gardening tools headquarters in Stowmarket, has a unique grip attachment that holds branches in place for single handed use.

The lightweight tool, which is being manufactured in Hungary, allows gardeners to cut through branches up to 80mm thick, and can be used for other DIY jobs such as cutting through plastic and metal.

Bosch’s Chelsea Flower Show stand this year will take the form of a traditional English village fete with treats on all four corners.
