ADNAMS has toasted the opening of two new retail outlets in Hadleigh and Holt in Norfolk, bringing its Cellar & Kitchen store chain to eight.

The Southwold-based brewer and leisure retailer has plans to open 30 of the stores by the end of 2012 as it strengthens its retail presence.

Dale Phillips, store manager at the new Hadleigh outlet, said they provided a “unique” experience for shoppers, where they would buy interesting and affordable wines they won't find elsewhere on the high street, as well as “exciting” kitchenware products including handcrafted designer items.

“We have seen three stores opening in the last two months, which is a nod to the success of Adnams' Cellar & Kitchen stores,” he said.

Adnams retail director Rupert Farquharson said: “Adnams Cellar & Kitchen Stores continue to be a great success and this is reflected in our desire to continue developing further sites. Shoppers can be assured of a great experience, led by our highly experienced staff and store managers.

“The key to our success can be attributed to be the importance we place on positioning our stores in premium locations, which attract local and tourist trade, as well as the quality of the products we sell.”

Mayor of Hadleigh Mary Munson officially opened the Hadleigh store on Tuesday.
