A LONG-SERVING employee of builders' merchants Kent Blaxill celebrated 40 years with the firm's Colchester division at a special ceremony.Glazier Brian Harvey, 66, of West Mersea, who now works part-time for the company, was presented with a gold watch by the firm's managing director Simon Blaxill.
A LONG-SERVING employee of builders' merchants Kent Blaxill celebrated 40 years with the firm's Colchester division at a special ceremony.
Glazier Brian Harvey, 66, of West Mersea, who now works part-time for the company, was presented with a gold watch by the firm's managing director Simon Blaxill.
Mr Harvey first joined Kent Blaxill as a glazier in 1963. He left after six years to work as an assistant caretaker at West Mersea School, but returned to the company in 1972. Over the years, he has accumulated wide experience of his craft, and was most recently plate glazing foreman.
