UNDERGRADUATE Brooke Shippey has scooped the regional title at the East of England Enterprising Social Science Awards.Ms Shippey, who worked for Essex-based CS Physio on a placement scheme, researched, devised and implemented a marketing campaign for the firm's training schemes for new physiotherapy graduates.
UNDERGRADUATE Brooke Shippey has scooped the regional title at the East of England Enterprising Social Science Awards.
Ms Shippey, who worked for Essex-based CS Physio on a placement scheme, researched, devised and implemented a marketing campaign for the firm's training schemes for new physiotherapy graduates. Her work prompted a significant rise in applications to the scheme.
The awards, sponsored by Lloyds TSB, showcase the achievements of companies and students that participate in the Enterprising Social Science scheme, which is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council and involves firms using the research and knowledge of undergraduate social scientists over an eight-week summer placement.
