Bury St Edmunds: Angel Hotel staff raise �3,500 for St Nicholas Hospice

Staff at the Angel Hotel in Bury St Edmunds have raised �3,500 for St Nicholas Hospice Care.

Nineteen staff set out on a 50 mile charity bike ride in June.

Operations director Lynn Cowan said it was an honour to visit the hospice and find out more about it.

“We all found it a very humbling experience,” she said, “Although there were some tired muscles the next day, we are very grateful to everyone who helped us raise such a considerable sum.”

Hospice events and challenges fundraiser Jenny Baskett said: “We are always so grateful for the hard work and dedication of all our fundraisers. They really do make a difference. It was lovely to meet the team from The Angel and to thank them in person for their hard work.”
