Bury St Edmunds-based property company Pigeon Investment Management raised over £1,500 for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) after it held a football tournament last month.

The six-a-side tournament, called the Golden Pigeon, was a fly-away success, and saw thirteen teams from across the house-building industry take part.

All teams donated a fee to enter and took part in the post-tournament raffle, which included a wide range of prizes donated by the town’s business community.

Director at Pigeon, Richard Stanton, said: “The vital funds raised through this tournament will provide invaluable support to children and their families at difficult times. Pigeon has chosen to support EACH for the past two years and last year reached the target of £5,300, the cost to keep an East Anglian Children’s Hospice open for one day.

“Pigeon will continue its best efforts to raise money for EACH.”
