GREENE King has brewed a special beer in honour of the new royal titles for Prince William and his bride.
Duke’s Cambridge Ale, a 4.2%abv (alcohol by volume) golden ale, has been launched by the Bury St Edmunds-based pubs and brewing group to mark the royal couple becoming the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Greene King’s head brewer, John Bexon, said: “Cambridge is our neighbouring city and we’re incredibly proud that Kate and Wills are our local Duke and Duchess.
“It’s been an absolute pleasure to brew an ale in their honour, one to celebrate their links to the area and a great pint to toast to their future happiness and success.
“Duke’s Cambridge Ale is a very refreshing beer with a subtle melon aroma and taste and light golden colour thanks to the pale malts included in the brew.” he added.
