A Bury St Edmunds ingredients and catering equipment supplier said it was “chuffed” after securing a mention in a cookbook by a top London restaurateur.

Infusions Ltd is listed as a chosen supplier in Junk Food Japan, by chef and author Scott Hallsworth.

The book features recipes from Hallsworth’s Kurobuta restaurants, which are located in Chelsea, Marble Arch and Knightsbridge in the capital.

Infusions is mentioned specifically for sourcing Trisol powder, an ingredient used in a number of recipes to make batter crispier.

Infusions managing director John Jackaman said: “We’re really chuffed to have been recognised as a solid and reliable supplier. We have had a longstanding relationship with both Scott and Kurobuta and it’s wonderful that they’ve acknowledged we are the people to go to for kitchen essentials.”

The business is based on the Rougham Industrial Estate.
