AN INDIAN restaurant in Bury St Edmunds has been shortlisted for the British Curry Awards which will be broadcast around the world.
Staff at Valley Connection, known as VC, in Churchgate Street, are delighted to have reached this stage in the prestigious competition. Kamrul Jaman, who is one of the partners in the business, said: “Even if we don’t win the competition being shortlisted out of this number of restaurants feels like winning already.”
Abdus Shahid, another partner in the business, said the restaurant’s success was due to the quality of the food and customer service.
The results will be announced on November 26.
