FORTY per cent of the stands at the Suffolk Exhibition are now taken, according to the organisers Ipswich & Suffolk Small Business Association (ISSBA)) and Suffolk Chamber of Commerce.

John Dugmore, chief executive of the Chamber of Commerce, said that the take-up of more than 50 of the 127 stands at Trinity Park in Ipswich clearly showed that businesses are keen to fight through tough economic times.

A training evening is planned for the evening of March 10 to help exhibitors make the most of the opportunities for raising their profile.

Lina Hogg, managing director, of human resources consultancy, Picasso HR, and a former president of Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, was one of the first companies to commit to sponsorship and said it was a “fantastic opportunity” for firms to get to know more about each other.
