A Suffolk pet care business celebrated the launch of the latest branch of the business in Lowestoft.
Lowestoft Canine Creche, part of Ipswich-based Canine Creche Group, hosted an opening event for prospective clients.
The group founder is Candace Rose, whose business now looks after more than 1,000 dogs per week across its sites, while paramedic Donna White is franchisee and owner of the new creche.
“I was astounded at the way Lowestoft rallied to support one of their own locals launch their new business,” said Ms Rose.
“We saw over 200 people through the doors in three hours and so many have already booked their dogs in to register for our services. Comments were positive, and everyone was surprised at the amount of space both inside and outside there is.
“The design accommodates a separate introduction area for new puppies or shy dogs, as well as play equipment, snooze areas and oodles of toys.”
Ms White said the launch of the new business had involved “considerable investment and time”, but it was “thrilling” to open after gaining the relevant consents.
“Obviously it is very daunting to build a new business, to customise the building and you hope and dream that everyone feels the same, and that the service is as needed as you believe it to be, thankfully that has been the case and we were inundated with visitors,” she said.
