The 61-year-old great grandfather, who started CML Cleaning three years ago, was made redundant at the age of 56 and was turned down for each job he applied for.
During a visit to JobCentre, he was recommended to contact INBIZ, the government scheme for start-up businesses.
He was trained through a small business programme and began as a sole trader, opening his doors for business in 2005.
