Stanfords at Colchester is hosting its annual Prime Stock Show on Tuesday morning, featuring the best in beef cattle and lamb.
The annual livestock competition, which is supported by local farmers, butchers and wholesale meat traders, provides an opportunity for farmers to showcase the quality stock they produce on a weekly basis. At stake are some prized trophies and fierce competition at auction for the winning beasts.
