CORPORATE travel management specialist Gray Dawes has integrated Trainline rail booking technology into its online travel management and expense management system gdbookonline.

Clients of Gray Dawes Travel, which is based in Colchester, can now access air and rail booking systems, with a facility to compare prices, through a single sign-on.

When booking travel through gdbookonline, which is powered by KDS, an international provider of integrated travel and expense solutions, users are shown results across all UK and international travel options, including scheduled airlines, low cost operators, hotels, car hire and UK rail.

Ian Cairns, head of distribution at thetrainline.com, said: “Trainline’s wide range of business market solutions provide today’s travel management companies like Gray Dawes with the tools they need to adapt in a fast moving market place.”

Nikki Regan, director, operations at Gray Dawes, said: “The introduction of this seamless integrated booking and expense management solution will revolutionise the booker experience and increase efficiencies and

drive down costs for our clients.”

Suzanne Cockburn, chief executive of Gray Dawes, added: “This is a significant step forward in terms of enhancing the technology available to our clients. However, there is more to come, which I will be unveiling as guest speaker at KDS Now! to be held in Paris on February 2, 2012.’’
