Bury St Edmunds brewer Greene King has launched limited edition bottles of its flagship IPA beer celebrating great sporting moments.
The packaging designs detail 10 of the most well-known and memorable British sporting moments from the past 60 years.
They include England winning the 1966 Football World Cup, Jonny Wilkinson’s kick against Australia to win the 2003 Rugby World Cup and team GB’s cyclists winning eight gold medals at the Rio Olympics.
As part of the launch of the commemorative collection, the brewer is also giving away more than £50,000 worth of prizes, including 300 cricket coolers, 125 IPA barbecues and 1,000 cases of beer.
These will be up for grabs alongside social media promotional activities, including a bid to find the public’s favourite sporting moments through a Facebook poll. The Greene King IPA Sporting Moments bottles are available at stockists across the UK.
