Suffolk Food Hall director Oliver Paul and Euston estate director Andrew Blenkiron will be joining farming heavyweights from across the country for the Oxford Farming Conference in January.

The annual event, which takes place from January 3 to 5 at Oxford University, will include a study commissioned by the conference into who holds the power in global agriculture economically, politically and in terms of natural resources.

Heavy-hitting speakers include DEFRA Secretary of State Caroline Spelman and shadow DEFRA secretary Mary Creagh.

Mr Paul, whose farm shop business is based near Ipswich, will be among a group of speakers discussing the food chain - co-operation or confrontation.
