THE work of a Suffolk design company, featuring larger than life cats, an award winning cake flattened by a bowling ball and a rather upset member of the WI, is going on show at venues across the country.
The unlikely combination of images features in publicity material produced by Add Design, based at Rendlesham, to promote - and reflect the storyline of - the latest book by Suffolk author Paul Hammond, entitled "Going Indoors".
“The book focuses on the sleepy Suffolk town of Lower Southborough and the chaos which unfolds with the start of a new bowling season," said Justin Firth, co-Director of Add Design.
"It was important for us to capture the vibrancy, colourful characters and tongue-in-cheek humour which everybody loves in Paul's writing.”
Paul Hammond added: “Whilst illustrations in the book were created by Sonya Burrows, Add Design performed sheer magic in all pre-promotional work, really bringing the idea of the book to life."
