The organisers of a software developer conference to be held in Ipswich later this month are hoping to attract up to 250 delegates.
Dev East is the idea of Richard Astbury and Emily-Jane Crittenden who are keen to raise the profile of development work in Suffolk.
Chris Olivier of Derivo, which is the main sponsor of the conference, will talk about the future of Artificial Intelligence with other presentations to cover areas including augmented reality, the impact of IT and natural language processing.
Other organisations represented among the speakers will include Oracle, the Creative Computing Club, QQ Trend, Records Sound the Same and Spicule.
Emily-Jane Crittenden, founder and organiser of local technology community group Digital East Anglia and chief executive of tech company SoftApps, said: “We are looking to attract up to 250 developers to hear inspirational content on technology and its application to solve the complex needs of today.”
