IPSWICH TOWN FC conference and banqueting sales executive Donna Talbot was presented with the Special Achievement Award at The Stadium Experience - Official Football Hospitality Awards.

She was acknowledged for her work at Portman Road and her contribution in supporting the marketing of the conference and banqueting facilities at all the clubs which are under The Stadium Experience banner at promotions like the Confex Exhibition at Earl's Court, the leading UK showcase for event organisations.

Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool were all among the clubs who put Donna's name forward for the award, as well as Town, which led to her receiving the award at the recent ceremony, held at Chelseas's Stamford Bridge home.

“It is obviously a great honour to receive the award,” said Donna, who has worked for the banqueting and conferencing arm of Ipswich Town for five years.

“Non-matchday business is becoming increasingly important for football clubs and I'm delighted to have played a role in promoting the fantastic facilities available at clubs, including obviously here at Portman Road.”

Mike Rieder, head of conference and hospitality at Portman Road, said: “We are all delighted for Donna, who was singled out for her dedication to the marketing committee of Stadium Experience and the passion and hard work she has put in at Ipswich Town.”
