SUDBURY-BASED multimedia experts have created a 16-minute DVD showcasing the region's biotech triumphs.

Simon Greene Associates created the film for ERBI, which wanted to highlight the success of Cambridge's biotech cluster and is responsible for helping further growth of biotechnology in the region.

The film was funded by a grant from the East of England Development Agency under a DTI initiative and is called Building Biotech Bridges in Cambridge and the East of England.

It has already been sent out to ERBI's 300 members and interested parties around the world.

“We're not aware of any other region that has produced a film in this way, but ERBI is known to be experimental and we constantly try to raise the bar in our approach,” said ERBI business development director Jeanette Walker.

“I think the film is an ideal medium to promote our members and to attract further investment, scientists, entrepreneurs and overseas companies to this region.”
