EAST Anglia-based travel company Fred. Olsen Travel has launched a new brand – Fred.\ – specialising in holidays to central Europe.
Fred.\ will be run by experts in travel to Germany, Austria and Switzerland and will offer a mix of city breaks, lakes, rivers and mountain holidays, beer festivals, rail holidays, river cruises and tailor-made options.
Lawrence Peachey, UK sales manager for Fred.\ said: “We know Germany, Austria and Switzerland are rapidly becoming very popular short break destinations for Brits and so are confident that our new brand Fred.\ fills a gap in the market.”
Fred. Olsen Travel has branches in Ipswich, Woodbridge, Felixstowe, Colchester, Bury St Edmunds and Norwich. Its Fred.\ brochure includes flights from regional airports including Norwich, Stansted, Cambridge and Southend.
