Three Holiday Inn hotels in the eastern region are among 21 across the country to have been put up for sale with a combined asking price of £70million.
The Holiday Inn Ipswich, off London Road, the Holiday Inn Colchester, at Eight Ash Green, and the Holiday Inn Norwich, in Ipswich Road, are among among those included in the sale.
And specialist property adviser Christie & Co, which is handling the sale, is already reporting substantial interest in the disposal.
Jeremy Jones, director of corporate hotels at Christie & Co, said: “Strong interest has already been shown in all the hotels, which are being offered free of management and with an interim Holiday Inn franchise agreement until the end of this year.”
Christie & Co says that guide prices for individual hotels will also be provided to “serious potential bidders”. The deadline for the first round of offers in noon on June 11.
