TRADE Electricals Direct (TED), the trade arm of regional electricals retailer Hughes, is continuing its drive into a new market after being named as an accredited dealer by Hobart.

TED will now be supplying a full range of commercial dish and glass washers under the Ecomax, Bar Air and Hobart brands, with some models able to wash a full load in as little as 60 seconds.

Paul Chisnall, general manager at TED, said: “We are delighted to have become an accredited dealer for Hobart, one of the best known names in the commercial catering business, as it further underlines our standing in this new market for us.

“We entered the market earlier in the year when we became a Miele Professional Sales & Service partner supplying its range of up market laundry equipment, which can take loads of up to 40kg.

“The Hobart product range compliments this as our main customers will largely be the same type of businesses: care and nursing homes, boarding schools, pubs, restaurants and hotels. We are always happy to meet with customers to discuss their options and match the right machines with their requirements.”

TED, which has branches in Ipswich, Colchester, Norwich, Cambridge, King’s Lynn, Peterborough, London and Birmingham, will supply both freshwater and high throughput tank fed dish and glass washers.

Mr Chisnall added: “These are exciting times at TED, coming on the back of 2012 when we became an approved supplier to the London Olympics which saw us deliver over 3,000 individual items to the games.”
