A series of Open Farm Sunday events are due to kick off at farms across East Anglia and the UK as a whole at the weekend.
Celebrity chef Brian Turner is encouraging the public to visit participating sites and find out more about what happens on the other side of the farm gates.
“British food has never tasted better thanks to the wonderful people who produce it,” he said.
“Open Farm Sunday on June 9 celebrates British farming and provides a fantastic opportunity for everyone to find out more about their food, and support their farmers too.
“It has never been as important as it is now for people to understand where their food comes from and visiting a farm is the best way for you to show your support.”
