Regional law firm Birketts has announced a record turnover of £28.9million for the 2012-13 financial year.
The firm, which has offices in Ipswich, Chelmsford, Norwich and Cambridge and is currently celebrating its 150th anniversary, saw overall revenue growth of 6.8% compared with the previous year.
New chief executive Jonathan Agar, who took up the role in June, said:“These results herald a landmark year for the firm. It is a phenomenal achievement by all involved. All areas of the business have performed well, exceeding expectations.
“It is particularly pleasing considering this growth is purely organic. Our sector-based strategy, increased investment in our offices, people and technology and delivering exceptional levels of client service has been a winning formula.
“We are confident that we will continue this momentum into 2013–14 with all our business areas beginning the year well.”
