Regional retail chain the East of England Co-op will be holding its annual members’ meeting at Wherstead Park, Ipswich on Saturday, May 12.
The independent retailer, which this year celebrates its 150th anniversary, will be showcasing its rich history during the event, from 9am to 2pm.
Its special guest this year will be local celebrity and dementia ambassador Jack Brock. The fun loving pony will be welcoming members at Wherstead Park, while his owner Ali will be talking about the work they do in nursing homes to support people living with dementia, and Co-op Juniors Theatre Company will be performing.
From 9.45am, all those who attend will have the opportunity to take part in two interactive workshops providing an insight into different areas of the member-owned co-operative.
Members who would like to attend the meeting should register online at www.eastofengland.coop/amm2018 or call 0800 389 5354.
