A new milkshake drink created by an Essex-based food firm has taken to the skies following a tie-in with a budget airline.

Shaken Udder, owned by a farming couple at Tolleshunt Major, has created a new drink, Chocolush Dreamcap shake, specifically for the travel sector.

It’s now celebrating a new deal with easyJet, which makes it available on its flights from July. The firm says the contract with easyJet, which operates 1,700 flights a day, carrying 260,000 passengers, is a “huge step” for the brand.

“This is a huge and incredibly exciting step for us. It’s the first time we’ve worked with an airline, so this is a real turning point for us as a business,” said co-founder Andrew Howie. “It really is a fantastic contract for us as now millions of customers who travel with easyJet will be able to choose our milkshakes from the menu. We hope passengers will enjoy Shaken Udder as something different.”
