AN ESSEX-based potato crisp maker is seeking a further sales boost by exhibiting for the first time at a major event in London next week.
Fairfields Farm Crisps, based near Colchester, will be attending the four-day International Food & Drink Exhibition which opens tomorrow and attracts buyers from across the UK and around the world.
“This is a huge show, which attracts over 22,000 buyers from all four corners,” said Robert Strathern of Fairfields.
“It’s a brilliant platform to promote fabulous British produce and we’re very excited to be able to introduce new buyers to our unique East Anglian crisps.”
Fairfields uses its own home-grown and carefully selected potatoes alongside local ingredients to create its award-winning range which includes flavours such as Sea Salted & Aspall Cyder Vinegar, Suffolk Farmhouse Cheese & Chive and Wicks Manor Smoky Bacon.
