SOUTH West Essex Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has elected a new branch secretary and branch treasurer following the appointment of former office holder Keith Brown to a staff position within the FSB.

SOUTH West Essex Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has elected a new branch secretary and branch treasurer following the appointment of former office holder Keith Brown to a staff position within the FSB.

Gill Attfield, a director of Brentwood-based Affinity Wills Limited and who lives in Kelvedon Hatch, was elected Secretary.

Alan Jefcoate, who runs CM Enterprises Hook End and lives in Hook End, near Blackmore was elected Treasurer.

South West Essex FSB branch chairman David Miles said: “Keith has held these two positions for around six years and has done an excellent job - we wish him well in his new role as part of the FSB's field staff team giving support to our members throughout Essex, Havering and Redbridge.

Robin Bailey of Capricorn Media was elected to represent FSB members in Havering and Redbridge.

“I am looking forward to working with Gill, Alan and Robin in their new roles and am confident that together we can continue moving forward for the benefit of local small businesses,” said Mr Miles.

Ms Attfield said: “The FSB has helped our business a great deal and the local branch has done great work with local councils to benefit small and medium sized businesses in the area.

“I am looking forward to my new role as a Branch Secretary in the UK's leading business organisation.”
