Drinks created by Shaken Udder, based at Tolleshunt Major, near Maldon, are already available at Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Ocado, Booths, The Co-op and WH Smith.

Its 330ml bottle range will be available in the dairy aisle of more than 300 Sainsbury’s stores across the UK, further cementing the brand nationally.

“The initial trial was for 90 stores and sales were strong,” said co-founder Andy Howie. “We’ve now heard our listing has been made permanent and extended nationwide, which is fantastic news and a brilliant start to the year.”

The firm’s premium range of milkshakes is made with real fruit or Belgian chocolate, British milk and contains no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
