Lifestyle consumer PR agency, Big Wave PR, has been shortlisted for three CIPR PRide Awards (Anglia, Thames and Chiltern) for its campaigns with the Royal British Legion.
The award-winning consultancy, based in Ardleigh, Colchester, has been shortlisted for Best Consumer Campaign, Best Event and Best Not-for-Profit Campaign for their work with the travel arm of the Royal British Legion, Remembrance Travel.
Their campaign for Remembrance Travel has been so successful that more D Day veterans than ever before - funded by LIBOR fines - have headed back to the Normandy beaches in a pilgrimage of remembrance. The government has also widened the campaign to allow all veterans of WWII to travel back to where they served on a journey of remembrance.
Hilary Collins founder and managing director, Big Wave PR said: “This is an amazing result! We’ve won best consumer award for the past three years in a row, so to be shortlisted for this award again, and two others, is a big achievement. The team has worked extremely hard and I’m delighted that their creativity, tenacity and expertise has yet again been recognised.”
The winners of the CIPR PRide 2018 Awards will be announced at an awards event in November at The Guildhall, Cambridge.
