ESSEX preserves company Thursday Cottage, a sister company of Tiptree-based Wilkin & Sons, has produced a limited edition jam to mark HM the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Jubilee Strawberry Jam has been hand cooked in open pans and is available in hand-filled jars sporting a patriotic Union Jack label.
It has been made using a mix of the Jubilee, Cambridge Favourites and Camerosa strawberry varieties, grown in Essex and Norfolk.
The jam, which has a recommended retail price of �2.65, is available to the trade through Tastes of Anglia’s distribution arm, Table, until supplies run out.
