National Farmers’ Union adviser Alex Butler-Zagni, Norfolk poultry farmer Eddie Hegarty and Derek Kelly from award-winning Essex turkey producers Kelly Turkeys will be speaking at the event, at the Cornwallis Arms Hotel, Brome, near Eye, at 7.30pm.
Mr Butler-Zagni will give a presentation on costings and the prospects for the Christmas market.
“I would urge turkey farmers to come along to this very worthwhile meeting as the sector gears up for its busiest time of the year,” he said.
For details, call the NFU on 01638 672100.
The meeting is sponsored by animal feed manufacturer BOCM Pauls and includes a buffet supper.
Specially-designed packaging will be available for producers to help promote locally-reared, tasty British turkeys.
