Ms Bethel has also been appointed head of the family department, and is responsible for managing it across KCJ's offices in Norwich, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds and Thetford.

She studied law at the University of East Anglia and started her career in law at Norwich Union in the early 1990s. Before joining KCJ she held senior posts at two other leading East Anglian firms, specialising exclusively in divorce and family matters for over 10 years.

She was one of the first family law practitioners to train in the field of collaborate law. She is one of only 20% of specialist family lawyers in the country to have attained specialist accreditation with the national family law body, Resolution. She is highly experienced in resolving complex financial divorce settlements as well as handling the more sensitive side of family breakdown, where disputes about children are concerned.

Ms Rutterford is a specialist in catastrophic personal injury claims involving multiple fatal accidents, psychiatric injuries, and traumatic brain and spinal injuries.

Her eight years' experience in the field includes claims against the Ministry of Defence, road crashes, workplace accidents and cases involving corporate manslaughter.
