THE fund management company supporting the East of England Development Agency Running the Gauntlet contest for regional entrepreneurs has scooped an award.

CREATE Partners, based in Cambridge and run by Canadian-born Boyd Mulvey was named Equity Gap Fund of the Year a the Investor AllStars Awards in London.

The company, whose aim to generate profitable returns to shareholders, says it prides itself on attention to detail and a high level of integrity.

“We're delighted to be recognised in this way,” said Mr Mulvey. “What makes this award important to us is that the decision was made by our peers - fellow venture capital investors who recognise how hard we've worked with our entrepreneurs.”
