Witham-based glass processing specialist Essex Safety Glass has been rebranded as ESG to reflect its growing customer base across the UK.

The change follows a successful first three years in operation for the company, which is continuing to attract customers from a broad range of industry sectors and with greatly differing needs.

Operations director Scott Sinden said: “Our reasoning behind the rebrand was simple - we process glass for a variety of customers on a national basis and needed a brand to reflect this, while not totally detracting from the original company name.

“We are proud of our roots in mid-Essex, but with an expanding customer portfolio across the country we didn't want to be seen as too parochial.

“Similarly, our product offering is much more than just safety glass. Significant investment into the latest technologies over the past couple of years, together with a team of highly trained glass processors, has increased our capacity and capability, enabling us to provide bespoke solutions.”

He added: “The applications of ESG's glass products are many and varied, but typically include glass balustrades, partitioning and doors, fire glass, glass furniture (including tabletops, kitchen worktops, and shower screens) through to glass products for bars, clubs, leisure facilities, as well as retail chains and individual outlets.”
