The Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce, John Longworth, met with the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce in Ipswich to hear of their work delivering support to firms across the region last week.

“We were delighted that John took time out of his busy schedule to come and meet with the Chamber to hear of the work we do not only in Suffolk but across the East of England.” said Suffolk Chambers chief executive John Dugmore.

“Not only did we have the opportunity to update John on the important and influential Chamber led campaign on the A14 but the team were able to explain the success of our partnership work on delivering the New Anglia Growth Hub and Suffolk Apprenticeship Service.”

Mr Longworth was appointed Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce in 2011.
