Greene King says cheers to new marketing director

BURY ST EDMUNDS-based Greene King Brewing Company has appointed Dominic South as its new marketing director.

He joins from Lindt & Sprungli and brings with him some excellent branded consumer goods experience having worked for United Biscuits (McVitie’s Mcvitie’s Cake & KP Snacks) and Pepsico UK (Walkers Crisps and Snacks.)

He has moved to Suffolk with his family and is delighted to be joining the historic Bury St Edmunds brewery that produces three of the country’s top 10 cask ales – Greene King IPA, Old Speckled Hen and Abbot Ale – and three of the nation’s top 12 bottled ales – Old Speckled Hen, Greene King IPA and Ruddles County.

Managing director Justin Adams said: “Dominic is joining us at a very exciting time and will play a critical role in taking our great brands, including Greene King IPA, Old Speckled Hen, Abbot Ale and Ruddles to the next level.”
