Insulation manufacturer Celotex has completed a marathon promotional tour involving technical presentations and guidance on changes in UK Building Regulations.

A double-decker bus, painted in the company’s distinctive pink livery, has called at 50 locations around the country since March.

The “Insulating Britain” campaign has reached more than 2,500 industry professionals, including architects, contractors and Celotex distribution partners, and has helped drive more than 10,000 visitors to the Hadleigh-based company’s purpose-built website, insulatingbritain.co.uk.

“Our Insulating Britain campaign has given industry professionals across the UK easy access to everything they need to know about new UK Building Regulations,” said Paul Evans, head of marketing at Celotex.

“With further reductions in CO2 emissions required for England, Wales and Scotland, Celotex product and service solutions will continue to help simplify compliance to these new levels.”

Although the Celotex bus has completed its journey, the company will continue to provide updates, information on how to simplify compliance and expert advice and guidance over the course of 2014.

Celotex is the UK’s leading manufacturer of high performance PIR insulation boards, with its range of products encompasses the thinnest and thickest boards available to the construction industry. In addition, Celotex remains the first PIR manufacturer to achieve an A+ BRE Green Guide rating.
